Newcastle United have completed the signing of Lewis Hall from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal.
The loan deal includes an obligation to sign the youngster permanently at the end of the season for a fee of £35 million, with the inclusion of performance-related add-ons.
Confirming the arrival of Lewis Hall to Saint James’ Park, Newcastle United put out a statement on their official website which reads:
“Newcastle United have signed defender Lewis Hall on a season-long loan from Chelsea.”
The 18-year-old is considered to be one of the Premier League’s brightest talents and he could be a world-beater in the coming years.
Hall made 12 appearances for Chelsea, scoring no goal and providing no assist across all competitions.
In those 12 games played for the Stamford Bridge club, include a 1-0 loss for the Blues against Newcastle United.
He played about 73 minutes in the encounter played on November 12, 2022, before he was replaced by Spaniard Marc Cucurella.
Lewis Hall faced stiff competition for a starting shirt at Chelsea and he has decided to show his qualities at Newcastle United for the 2023/24 season.

Speaking concerning his arrival to Newcastle United, the 18-year-old shared how proud he is to sign a deal with the club.
He said: “I’m very proud. Me and my family are Newcastle fans, and for me and my brother growing up, it was drilled into us that we were Newcastle.”
Hall also spoke about his desire to win a trophy at the club he has supported right from his childhood.
The 18-year-old said: “There’s so many talented players and we’ve got the Champions League now as well so there’s many different competitions that I know the team will be wanting to do well in, and hopefully get a trophy or two as well.”
The Englishman becomes the 5th arrival for the Magpies this summer, having signed Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes, Tino Livramento, and Yankuba Minteh.
Newcastle United started the 2023/24 Premier League signing on a winning note, smashing Aston Villa by 5-1.
However, they were defeated in their second game of the season by Manchester City, via a lone goal from Julian Alvarez.

In Lewis Hall’s first interview with Newcastle United, he noted the club’s participation in the UEFA Champions League and definitely.
Following their 4th place finish in the Premier League last term, they qualified for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years.
The left-back will wear the No 20 shirt at Newcastle United, a shirt that has previously been worn by legends, including; Geremi Njitap and Duncan Ferguson.
