Newcastle vs Tottenham: Newcastle striker Alexander Isak’s 78th-minute goal was enough to instil Tottenham Hotspur’s first defeat in the 2024-25 Premier League season.

Harvey Barnes scored the first goal for Newcastle in the 37th minute of the game. Tottenham Hotspur got back into the game after Newcastle defender Dan Burn deflected Brennan Johnson’s attempt into his own goalpost.

Pope had an excellent save in the 75th minute to deny Tottenham Hotspur from going ahead in the game. The goalkeeper finger-tipped the Maddison’s attempt on goal.

Newcastle United went ahead in the 78th minute of the match after a brilliant counterattack from Joelinton. The midfielder gave the ball to Murphy, who put the ball into the Isak path to score.

The Swedish striker was not under any pressure as he put the ball into the empty net.
