Newly appointed Juventus coach, Andrea Pirlo has given some clues a few months ago as to how he wants his teams to play.
The former Italy international had also said he’d buy Real Madrid midfielder Isco because he likes 4-3-3 with everyone bombing forward.
With no top team management experience, Juventus took a risk with the 41-year-old, who had only just been appointed coach of the Under-23 squad, which plays in the Serie C a week ago. But the sack of Maurizio Sarri changed his fortune to be appointed as the first-team coach despite not having his coaching badge yet.
Pirlo got a waiver because he is doing his thesis after which he will get his badge.
Speaking on the kind of football he will try to implement at the Bianconeri, the former Juventus midfielder said he gave a few hints during a live stream discussion with former teammate Fabio Cannavaro a few months ago.
“It depends on the players, but I do like 4-3-3 with everyone bombing forward. A lot of possession, I want to keep passing the ball around, even behind the bench if necessary!
“I like 4-3-3, but of course if you realize that the players can’t really work that way, you adapt and use them in a different system. If you get too fixated on a system and your players can’t do it, then you’re wasting time and not getting the best out of them.”
Juve have to give Ronaldo service – Andrea Pirlo
Some of the comments made by Pirlo while working as a pundit for Sky Sport Italia in the 2018-19 season was that Juve’s midfield is a problem for Cristiano Ronaldo
“The problem with Juve is the midfield. They signed Cristiano Ronaldo, but have to find the right way to give him service.”

He had also said that Isco was the player who the Bianconeri ought to purchase.
The Spaniard had been injured in most of the last season, which had seen him out of action. Although his future remains unclear at the club, he is expected to return into action once he is fit.
But with Pirlo at the helms of affairs, he now has the chance to use his preferred information and see how it will favour the five-times world footballer of the year who bagged 31 Serie A goals in the recently concluded season.
But will Pirlo, go for Isco as said in 2018? If the transfers speculations become true, Real Madrid may want to release Isco to Juve as they are reportedly making a move for the Serie A Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the year, Paulo Dybala.
According to Daily Marca, the Galacticos might be ready to make Tonis Kroos or Isco to be part of a swap deal for the Argentine, who almost left Juve in January.
