The Most Valuable Players outside the Europe tops five leagues who are aged 20 and below aren’t the regular guys you know.
They are players you do not know except when clubs bids for them, then you start hearing their names all over the places as well as video compilations of their skillls.
Here, Futballnews takes you down the road and we’d see this youngsters and how much they are all worth…
1. Endrick Felipe – €20m
Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa, also known as Endrick Felipe or just Endrick, was born on July 21, 2006, and currently plays as a striker for Palmeiras of the Brazilian league. In July 2024, he will sign with Real Madrid of La Liga.
Endrick, a Brazilian native, began playing football when he was four years old. Douglas Sousa, his father, posted his son’s goals on YouTube and searched for takers among the major Brazilian clubs.
After learning that his father was unable to provide for his family, Endrick made a commitment to play professional football.
Before being hired by Palmeiras as a cleaner, his father was jobless.
2. Benjamin Sesko – €20m
Slovenian professional footballer Benjamin Sesko , who was born on May 31, 2003, plays forward for both the Slovenian national team and Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg. In July 2023, he will sign with RB Leipzig of the German Bundesliga.
From Domale, Sesko joined Red Bull Salzburg at the age of 16 in 2019. He spent two seasons on loan with Salzburg’s reserve team FC Liefering, where he scored 22 goals in 44 appearances in Austria’s second division.
He made his Red Bull Salzburg first-team debut in January 2021, and since then, he has won two Austrian Bundesliga championships and one Austrian Cup.
With Slovenia at the youth international level, Sesko played 25 games.
When he made his senior Slovenian national team debut in June 2021 at the age of 18 years and 1 day, he broke the record for the youngest player ever.
He became Slovenia’s youngest-ever goal scorer in October 2021 when he netted his maiden goal for the national team.
3. Xavi Simons – €20m
Dutch professional footballer Xavi Quentin Shay Simons (born 21 April 2003) competes for Eredivisie club PSV and the Netherlands national team as a midfielder or attacking midfielder.
Simons is the son of former Dutch footballer Regillio Simons and was born in Amsterdam.
Simons’ father is a Surinamese immigrant.
He shares a birthday with his older brother Faustino (born 1996), a football player.
Simons was included in Goal’s “NxGn 2020” list of the top 50 football wonderkids in the world in March 2020.
In October, he was also mentioned in The Guardian’s “Next Generation 2020.”
4. Luka Sučić – €20m
Luka Sucic (born September 8, 2002) is a Croatian professional footballer who currently plays for Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg and the Croatia national team.
Zeljko and Branislava Sucic, Bosnian Croat parents from Bugojno who had escaped the Bosnian War, gave birth to Sucic in Linz.
Sucic was born in Linz, however he is not an Austrian citizen.
He identified as a supporter of Hajduk Split and Barcelona, but he also cited Luka Modric as an inspiration in football. Modric played for Dinamo Zagreb and Real Madrid, the two clubs who compete with Hajduk Split and Barcelona.
5. António Silva – €15m
A professional footballer from Portugal, António Joo Pereira de Albuquerque Tavares da Silva (born 30 October 2003) plays center back for Benfica in the Primeira Liga and the Portugal national team.
Via Benfica’s youth program, Silva made an impression while playing for the reserve team, winning the UEFA Youth League in 2021–2022 and playing a key role in Benfica’s first European championship in 60 years.
After being elevated to the first team, he made his career debut at the age of 17 in the game-changing 2022–23 season.
Silva has previously competed for Portugal at the youth international level.
He was selected for the senior team for the FIFA World Cup in 2022, and shortly after that, he played for his first senior international team.
6. Oliver Kjaerdaard – €15m
Oliver Kjaerdaard, a professional football player for the Danish club HamKam in the Eliteserien, was born on May 2, 1998.
At the age of 17, Kjaerdaard made his professional debut on December 8, 2015, when Lyngby defeated AB 3-0 in the Danish Cup.
In the 61st minute, he entered the field to replace Oke Akpoveta. During that season, he also participated in two games for the team in the Danish First Division.
7. Arsen Zakharyan – €15m
Arsen Norayrovich Zakharyan, a professional football player for Dynamo Moscow and the Russian national team, was born on May 26, 2003, in Russia. He is of Armenian origin.
Zakharyan is a versatile player who can play the wide midfielder position on either flank, the attacking midfielder position, or the central midfielder position. He may move across the field of play in various games as the tactics dictate.
Zakharyan has been likened to Kevin De Bruyne, a Belgian international, and to Alexandru Cicaldau, a Rumanian international, based on traits like his finishing, passing skill, and playing style.
He was selected in October 2020 as one of the top 60 players born in 2003 in the world of football.
8. Talles Magno – €15m
Heightes Magno Bacelar Martins, also known as Talles Magno and born on June 26, 2002, is a Brazilian professional football player who competes for Major League Soccer team New York City FC as a winger.
He was a member of “Future Generation 2019” by The Guardian.
9. Marcos Leonardo – €14m
Brazilian footballer Marcos Leonardo Santos Almeida, also known as Marcos Leonardo, was born on May 2, 2003. He plays forward for Santos.
When he participated in the 2019 Montaigu Tournament and the UEFA Development Tournament, Marcos Leonardo represented Brazil at the under-17 level.
He and Santos teammate Renyer were selected for the under-18s on February 12, 2021.
The father of Marcos Leonardo, Marcos Coringa, played forward and football as well.
Nonetheless, he would only participate in amateur competitions in his home state of Bahia.
10. Kenneth Taylor – €14m
Dutch professional footballer Kenneth Ina Dorothea Taylor (born May 16, 2002) plays for both the Netherlands national team and Eredivisie club Ajax as a defensive midfielder.
On October 15, 2018, Taylor made his Eerste Divisie debut for Jong Ajax against Jong PSV as a 70th-minute Jasper ter Heide replacement.
On December 12, 2020, Taylor made his Eredivisie debut for AFC Ajax against PEC Zwolle as a 64th-minute replacement for Perr Schuurs.
On February 6, 2022, Taylor scored his first Eredivisie goal in a game against Heracles Almelo in the 65th minute.
He replaced Steven Berghuis in the 63rd minute, and shortly after, Sébastien Haller found him on a pass for his first league goal.
