As Lionel Messi is dragging Barcelona to let him leave the club within this summer transfer window, the club is dragging their 33-year-old Uruguay forward Luis Suarez to leave despite still having almost a year left on his current contract with the club. Suarez who left Liverpool to join the club in 2014 for a transfer fee worth €81.72 million, was not impressive in the just concluded 2019-2020 season as he managed to score only 16 goals in 28 appearances in the league.
