AS Roma star Eldor Shomurodov is in talks to join Major League Soccer giant Atlanta United. The two parties are working extensively to find an agreement.

The striker has been looking for a new club since the beginning of the transfer window after spending last season on loan with Cagliari.

Last season, the striker scored three goals and created three assists in 22 appearances. The superstar joined AS Roma for a €20 million deal in 2021.

He endured a poor season at AS Roma and proceeded with a loan deal with Spezia in January 2023, followed by a move to Sardegna.

He is an intelligent player who adapts to different environments and styles of play.

Bambito has been crucial to the success of the Colorado Rapids, who struggled at the beginning of the season.

The Canadian centre back helped the team win five games in 2023. Bambito’s performance pushed the Colorado Rapids to fourth place in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer, with 12 wins in 26 matches so far.

Also, his performance in the 2024 Copa America with Canada got the praise of the country’s manager, Jesse Marsch.

The former Leeds United manager said, “For me, the best example of what’s wrong with the sport in our country is that Moïse Bombito never really was identified until 23 years old. Like, that can’t be.”

“I’ve coached some of the best centre-backs in the world: Dayot Upamecano, Ibrahim Konaté, and Joško Gvardiol. And Bombito’s level is in that category.”

The brilliant centre-back, who is famously known for being the fastest player in Major League Soccer, sees the Ligue 1 as the league that will boost his career as a football star.

Charlotte FC Attempt to Sign Dutch Midfielder Calvin Stengs Is Currently Off

Charlotte FC’s attempt to sign Feyenoord star Calvin Stengs has collapsed after the two clubs failed to find a reasonable agreement.

The collapse of the deal was confirmed when Stengs released a statement saying, “I will come back to Feyenoord and will give everything there for the club, my fellow players, and the fans.”

In addition, he said, “I’m looking forward to the new season and playing in the Champions League.”
