Lionel Messi of Barcelona discloses that Cristiano Ronaldo balancing his Ballon d’Or record two years ago upsets him. Ronaldo records his fifth in 2017 which annoyed Argentina International forward.

In an interview with France Football, after the award ceremony, Messi admitted he was displeased by it. ”When he equaled me, it bothered me a little,” Messi said.

Currently, the Barcelona and Argentina star will actually put that feeling behind him, now that he has his sixth. However, winning his sixth Ballon d’Or has once again placed himself ahead of Ronaldo.

Well, judging by the look of things, the best footballer between the two incredible players is not certain yet. Clearly, Leo is one ahead of the Portuguese, but Ronaldo is usually a strong opponent to any challenger. Who knows what he might do in the nearest moment?

In relation, some say it is proof that the Argentine is the best ever. With his Ballon d’Or lead ahead of his counterpart. While Messi says that ”Honestly, I don’t know who the best in history is.”

Christiano Ronaldo

The Argentina international recently saying his moment of withdrawal is approaching, still sounds promising in his statements.

34-year-old Ronaldo being Leo’s closest rival, Ronaldo, is strong and will arguably play for more years. These two have been each other’s strength to strive harder for their goals. We hope to see more of them and a replica who can break their records also.
