Mason Greenwood was spotted recently with his presumed ex-girlfriend who accused him of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behavior in addition to assault.
Harriet Robson is the lady whose accusations put Mason Greenwood’s football career on hold since January 2022.
When she accused Greenwood of rape and coercive behavior in January 2022, She went as far as posting audio, video clips and pictures to support her claims.
The case against the embattled footballer was thrown out of the window as a result of a lack of cooperation from 12 witnesses who came to testify against the forward including the lady who is supposed to be the victim, Harriet Robson.
Secret evidence also led to the reason why the matter was dismissed with Mason Greenwood now free, discharged and acquitted of all the accusations levelled against him.
Recently, a video of Mason Greenwood and his accuser which caused a lot of tongues wagging and conversations flowing went viral.
In the video, Harriet Robson, the same lady who levelled the allegations against her then boyfriend, Mason Greenwood was spotted with the footballer coming out of a restaurant together in the night.
It appeared that apparently the permission of Greenwood was not sought for the upload of the TikTok video. The video footage was however distributed by others in spite of the original user deleting the video.
Harriet Robson has not put out a statement since Greenwood’s ordeal started
Mason Greenwood supposed ex-girlfriend has not put out a public statement since the footballer’s saga garnered lots of attention in late January. However, Alan Robson, Harriet’s dad, compiled what occured after the case.
Alan Robson, the father of Harriet speaking in an interview after the incident between Mason Greenwood and Harriet Robson said:
“She has told us her phone has been hacked. We told her to take it down, which she has done but it’s out there now so it is too late. She is devastated because she didn’t want it released. We have known him since the under 21s.”
“He has been part of our family for two or three years. Their relationship has not been good for the last few months. She is completely devastated by it all. They were very much in love and have been together for a while. The police are dealing with it now.”
Harriet Robson according to reports was not in support of the pictures and video samples being made public.
The clapback against Greenwood and the aftermath of the race allegations levelled against him.
Reports in circulation earlier this month insinuated that Manchester United Women’s team are strongly against the return of the player to the club.
The aftermath of the accusations led to a cycle of possible ruining news for Mason Greenwood as his contractual agreements with Nike was squashed.
He was also removed from the video game FIFA in 2022 and other subsequent editions to be released.
Manchester United also suspended Mason Greenwood in January 2022 and they have stated that he would not return to training with the club until their own findings are concluded.
Nevertheless, Mason Greenwood spoke to Erik Ten Hag earlier in the month of February, 2023 for the first time since the Dutchman became gaffer of the club.
And some sources have indicated that the Englishman might be introduced back to the club before the end of the 2022/23 football season.
