Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford is renting out one of his properties to bankrupt former Manchester United star Wes Brown.
The former Manchester United defender was declared bankrupt after owing a six-figure debt to the taxman and also to a car company.
Brown lost millions of pounds in a failed property deal that broke his wealth. It was also reported that two creditors lobbied to make Brown bankrupt.
It was said that the former £50,000-per-week player only owed a few pounds to the car finance firm. It was Brown’s entry into a series of property deals that bankrupted him.
A costly divorce with his ex-wife, Leanne Wassell, put the player on the defensive. A source claimed that while Brown was young, he tried to live the lifestyle of players who earn five to six times his wages.
He paid around £6–7 million for the property where his ex-wife, Leanne, lived. After the divorce, Brown tried to sell the property, but he couldn’t even after lowering the price to 4 to £5 million.
The report also added that Brown’s ex-wife, Leanne, was owed a whopping amount of £500,000 by her former housewife co-star, Dawn Ward.
However, Leanne is said to have written off the debt.
