Manchester City were referred to by Sir Alex Ferguson, United’s legendary coach, as “the noisy neighbors.” Recently, they’ve become noisier.

Recently, Lebron James, Daniel Kalulya, and Marcus Rashford all spoke on “The Shop” Youtube channel about the rivalry between the two teams.

“But with City, it’s a bit more like you don’t like them, but you don’t really have a reason not to like them”, Marcus Rashford said.

“You just grow up and it’s two Manchester sides”.

Rashford discusses how the history between Manchester United and Liverpool has deepened their rivalry. At the moment, the rivalry with Manchester City is primarily about territory.

Due to Liverpool’s past success and that of United, there is genuine animosity between the two clubs. The competition to be the best in England is on. not confined to the City.

The rivalry between City and Manchester United, however, is certain to be just as intense in future generations as the one between Liverpool and Manchester United given City’s recent success, which shows no signs of slowing down.

It appears that it won’t be long before City becomes the kings of England after just being the monarchs of Manchester.

When you consider that it seems like yesterday when Rashford made his debut with two goals against Midtjylland, it is incredible to fathom that he is already 24 years old.

And he hasn’t looked back since that unforgettable night at Old Trafford in 2016, inspiring young people who aspire to play for the Red Devils in the future.

After all, every supporter secretly hopes to start with at least one local player since it makes it simpler for them to experience the Premier League dream through them.

With players like Rashford, Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool, and Phil Foden of Manchester City having experienced the same spirit of being supporters of their current clubs and were later applauded as superstars of the clubs they used to support, means that they “understand” the rivalry a lot more.

Rashford respects City just as much as he respects Liverpool, so there’s no doubt about that, but if anything shows how much of a United supporter he is, it’s the excellent way he downplayed City based on the club having no history.
