Marcus Rashford and his teammates are in London ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United in Wembley Stadium at 17:30 later today, February 26.

This news is coming as a sigh of relief for Manchester United fans as Marcus Rashford was an injury doubt for the game.

Marcus Rashford ignited injury concerns with a cryptic message on his Instagram account after Manchester United’s amazing victory at Old Trafford to Barcelona.

Erik ten Hag stated that they would have to wait and see the eventuality with the injury of the Englishman but Marcus Rashford has at least made the trip and could be in contention for a starting shirt on Sunday.

Rashford arrived at Manchester United’s hotel looking gloomy, with Manchester United travelling to London via train.

His teammates, Bruno Fernandes and David De Gea looked happy and bubbling as they appeared to crack jokes with one another.

Erik Ten Hag also gave a smile to the camera as he joined up looking prim and proper in a coat and flat cap.

Ten Hag is hoping to win his first piece of Silverware with Manchester United and his side have been given an advantage by the absence of Newcastle goalkeepers Nick Pope and Martin Dubravka who is cup-tied since he has featured for Manchester United earlier in the season in the Carabao Cup.

That means Liverpool shaky goalkeeper Loris Karius is set to make his debut for Newcastle United, which will be his first competitive appearance in two (2) solid years.

The 29-year-old joined the side based in Tyneside last summer as a makeshift goalkeeper for circumstances like this where the senior goalie and his deputy might not be available.

The Magpies have also dropped in form in recent weeks as they have taken one win in their last seven league games in the Premier League which has seen them drop from the top four (4).

Manchester United fans across the globe would be relishing the prospect of a trophy for the Red Army who last won a major title in 2017 under Jose Mourinho.

Jose Mourinho led Manchester United to win the Carabao Cup and the UEFA Europa League in the 2016/17 season.

Marcus Rashford has scored fourteen (14) league goals in twenty-four (24) matches in the Premier League in addition to making three assists so far.

In all competitions, the Englishman has scored twenty-four (24) goals and made nine (9) assists in thirty-seven league appearances for Manchester United.

The 24-year-old has had one of his best return this season and many have ascribed it to the insights he is getting from Benni Mccarthy and Eric Ten Hag.

Manchester United would be playing in their tenth (10) league Cup final later today with the Red Army winning the last four (4) they appeared in.

In 2006, 2009, 2010 and 2017 the team based in the Red side of Manchester lifted the title.

They have also won two (2) league Cup finals to be played on the 26th of February defeating Wigan Athletic in 2006 and Southampton FC in 2017.
