Marc Cucurella was taken aback when he learned Jorginho had finalized his move from Chelsea to Arsenal.
During an interview, the defender learned the information and found it hard to digest.
When asked by Goal who he believed to be the smartest member of the Chelsea team, Cucurella responded, “Jorginho.”
He was astonished to see there were pictures of the Italian wearing a Gunners shirt as he was going to continue explaining his opinion when he was halted.
Cucurella claimed to be aware of the rumors after reading about a prospective move on Monday. When he realized Jorginho would no longer be his teammate, he reacted by laughing.

Jorginho has completed his £12 million transfer to The Emirates and sign an 18-month contract with a year extension option.
Jorginho was photographed smiling ear to ear while wearing an Arsenal jersey and standing next to his agent, Joao Santos.
Additionally, it appears that his new squad number has been made public.
In the photograph, he was seen sporting the No. 20, which is now vacant, while donning Arsenal tracksuit bottoms.
In lieu of their top target Moises Caicedo, the Gunners moved for Jorginho.
Brighton turned down several proposals from Arsenal for the midfielder, the most recent being worth over £75 million.
The Ecuadorian may join Mikel Arteta’s side in the summer.
Why Did Jorginho join Arsenal?
Jorginho, an Arsenal newcomer, has acknowledged that Mikel Arteta, the manager, had a significant impact on his decision to switch from Chelsea to the Gunners.
On Tuesday night, Jorginho transferred from Chelsea to Arsenal before the transfer deadline.
The international player from Italy committed to Arsenal for an initial period of 18 months, with a one-year extension option.
The 31-year-old was quoted by the club’s official website as stating the following during his first news conference after joining Arsenal: “He [Mikel Arteta] was a big influence because I know that he tried a few times to get me. So, of course, he had a big influence [in me joining Arsenal].”
After bringing in defender Jakub Kiwior from Spezia for £21 million and midfielder Leandro Trossard from Brighton for £21 million plus £6 million in add-ons, Jorginho is Arsenal’s third acquisition of the January transfer window.
On Saturday against Everton, he may make his club debut while donning the number 20 shirt.
Now that Arsenal is playing Everton in a Premier League match this weekend, Jorginho might make his debut for the club.
