Manchester United are reportedly prepared to renew their interest in both Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale and Inter Milan Ivan Perisic.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho, however, with a deal stalling after United refused to meet the winger’s £108m asking price, they have turned to their sight to Welsh forward Gareth Bale and Croatian international Ivan Perisic instead.
Despite crashing down the pecking order under Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, Gareth Bale who has two years left on his contract.
It is reported that Real Madrid are prepared to path company with Bale a free transfer should he leave the Santiago Bernabeu permanently, after rejecting an £89million offer for the Welshman last summer.
They are also reportedly willing to pay half of his wages if he was to leave on loan. Should Madrid release him to United on a free transfer, they need to terminate his contract and pay off the remainder of it which would cost them £60m over the course of his £30m-a-year deal.
Manchester United are also showing interest in Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic as a potential alternative to Jadon Sancho
According to the Telegraph, Manchester United fear they would fail in their bid to sign Sancho and have now outlined Perisic as an alternative.
The Inter Milan man spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich, where he scored eight goals in 35 appearances as he helped the Bavarians to their treble triumph.
The 32-year-old has now returned to Inter Milan but with Antonio Contseemingly not interested in the Croatian, he could be headed out, either on loan or permanently.
United have completed only one signing so far in this transfer window, after they captured Ajax star midfielder, Donny van de Beek, from for £40million.
