The 18-year-old Argentine went down in the penalty box under the challenge of Kyle

He went straight into the tunnel to receive further treatment.

Garnacho is the second Manchester United player to work on crutches this season and may be sidelined for a long time.

Christen Eriksen had a similar case against Reading in the Carabao Cup.

Garnacho has been a top-notch player under Erik Ten Hag since his match-winning goal against Fulham.

He has made 15 appearances in the Premier League and has scored two goals and created two assists.

However, Erik Ten Hag had given an update on Garnacho’s injury. The Dutch manager
downplayed the youngster’s injury and stated that he was substituted in the 73rd minute because the team needed more attackers.

Erik Ten Hag still has to wait for confirmation of the extent of his injury.

However, if he is expected to be sidelined with injuries, he is likely to miss the second leg encounter against Real Betis in the Europa League and also the FA Cup match against Fulham.

Manchester United will be without Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek, Christian Eriksen, and Marcel Sabitzer against Real Betis on March 15, 2023.

In addition, Casemiro, who was dismissed after a straight red card, will miss the FA Cup quarterfinal match against Fulham and three other matches in the Premier League.

Manchester United will have to pair Fred and Scott McTominay again this season. These two players are the main reason why the club signed the 31-year-old Brazilian.

Manchester United haven’t won a single match in March in the Premier League, and it is a worrisome stat for Erik Ten Hag and his team who are fighting to finish in the top four.

United are currently out of the title picture, and the quadruple dream is over. The main focus is getting a Champions League spot at the end of the season.

The manager has already won a title with the Red Devils (Carabao Cup) and he is still competing in the FA Cup and the Europa League.

It is Ten Hag’s first season as a Manchester United manager, so winning a few trophies and qualifying for the Champions League will be a huge success this season.

With a potential change of ownership, there is going to be a massive rebuild in the squad and the renovation of Old Trafford.

The team is likely to challenge for the Premier League title, which they last won 11 years ago.
