Manchester United duo of Tyrell Malacia and Marcus Rashford were said to have been involved in a car accident caused by a drunk driver.
Malacia was reportedly rushed to a hospital following a collision with an alleged drunk driver earlier this month.
Tyrell Malacia was in a Range Rover owned by teammate Marcus Rashford, who was in a separate vehicle behind his own at the time of the accident.
Rashford’s Range Rover which was driven by one of the Englishman’s friends was hit by a Black Mercedes C220 AMG sport on July 16, 2024.

The Black Mercedes was reportedly driven by a 55-year-old female driver, who was initially detained by police before being apprehended on suspicion of drink-driving and taken for a medical check-up at Macclesfield Hospital.
Tyrell Malacia alongside the driver of Rashford’s Range Rover were advised to go for thorough medical checks and they were subsequently cleared by doctors.
Marcus Rashford and Malacia returned to training with Manchester United the following day.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Rashford joined his teammates at Manchester United for a preseason tour in Los Angeles.
Tyrell Malacia, who was out for the entirety of the 2023/24 season due to injury has been excluded from the Red Devils pre-season tour to the United States, as they look to gradually ease him into the side.
The Dutchman is continuing his fitness work in the United Kingdom and he will be hoping to delineate his brilliance in the upcoming campaign.
Marcus Rashford was amongst Manchester United’s contingent, who were involved in a pre-season friendly against the Norwegian side Rosenborg on July 15, 2024.
The encounter ended 1-0 in favor of Rosenborg, with Rashford being withdrawn ahead of the commencement of action in the second half.
