After splitting from his former lover, Rita Johal, Manchester City winger, Riyad Mahrez has now confirmed the speculation surrounding his relationship with Dawn Ward’s daughter, Taylor Ward.
The two were first said to be dating in February, but there was no substantial evidence to back up the rumour. But the evidence is finally here.
Reacting to her post, Taylor’s 624K followers and celebrity pals quickly share their support, with her Real Housewives Of Cheshire star mother Dawn also giving her approval.
49-year-old Ashley Ward, her dad joined in giving his support as well. Ashley is also a former footballer who retired from the sport in 2005 and the family live in a £15 million Cheshire mansion.
It could be recalled that Mahrez tied the knot in 2015 and shares, two daughters, with his ex-wife. According to reports, the Algerian captain and Taylor are believed to have enjoyed a string of dates after he ended his marriage.
On her Instagram page today, Taylor shared a loved-up snap with Mahrezas the beaming couple enjoyed a dinner date.
She went ahead to sweetly captioned the snap with ‘Me & U,’ with a heart emoji, while the footballer shared the photo to his Instagram Story.

According to a source, Taylor before agreeing to date the footballer refused to pursue a romance until she knew his marriage was over.
‘They’ve been friends for a while but Taylor refused to go there romantically until she knew his marriage was over. She is very much a girls’ girl and would never break that code.
‘Taylor is stunning and Riyad’s team-mates have been ribbing him about how he’s been punching above his weight,” the source told SUN.
It was claimed last year that Mahrez’s teammate, Segio Aguero was dating Taylor after the Argentine split from wife Gianna in 2012.
“About two weeks ago they went for a spa day together. And they were on a pal’s Instagram too before Christmas,” a source told The Sun at the time.
