Manchester City is monitoring the situation of Lionel Messi at Barcelona as he await who will take over the club’s leadership position


The future of Barcelona talisman, Lionel Messi continues to be in the air having expressed the intention to leave the Catalan giant last season before changing his mind.

According to Dean Jones, a Eurosport journalist, City wants to offer him to play in the Premier League. He further stated on his Ranks FC podcast that once his playing time in Manchester is over, the English club wants him to continue in the team that the City Group has in New York. This is expected to attract Messi to the club.

Messi would be attracted to the option of being able to continue the experience in the New York franchise and be able to live a stage in the American city, where his football stage would end.
