Manchester City players dominate the 2022-2023 Champions League team of the season after they won their first-ever European Trophy.
After ten long months of football, we finally saw Man City crowned as the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League winner.
Seven players from champions Manchester City made the team of the 2022-23 Champions League season.
The list is also completed by two players from Inter Milan – finalists of the competition – and another pair from Real Madrid, who reached the semifinals.
The triumph marked an unforgettable season, as Pep Guardiola’s men achieved the treble in this campaign, as they also won the Premier League and the FA Cup.
In the list, City are well represented by the player with the most goals, Erling Haaland, who scored 12 goals, and Rodri, who on Saturday scored the only goal of the final for City.
The rest of the list was made up of other five City players in the starting XI this season, Bernardo Silva, who scored twice in Real Madrid’s elimination from the continental tournament, as well as Kevin de Bruyne, John Stones, Ruben Dias, and Kyle Walker.

UEFA Player Of The Season
UEFA Champions League player of the season went to Rodri, who became the hero of his team by scoring the goal that won the title, the first in City’s history.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, whose team Napoli did not go beyond the quarterfinals, won the award for the best young player of the 2022-2023 UEFA Champions League.

Manchester City secured a historic treble after a stunning 1-0 victory against Inter Milan in Istanbul.
Saturday’s win over Inter in Turkey represented the spectacular culmination of a project which began in 2008 when the club was taken over by the Abu Dhabi United Group.
Manchester City have now reached the pinnacle of the European game after winning the Champions League.
The triumph was the first European title City have won since Tony Book lifted the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1970, and the first time the Blues have won the coveted trophy.
