Manchester City and Chelsea of the English Premier League are currently top of the list of the most Valuable squad in the world.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City still topped the list despite the massive spending by rival team Chelsea. Recall that the Blues spent over $350 million in the January transfer window alone.
The list of the biggest spenders in the January transfer window was dominated mostly by teams in the Premier League and was led by Chelsea.
Chelsea signed Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, Benoît Badiashile, Andrey Dantos, David Datro Fofana, and loanee João Félix, while Arsenal signed Leandro Trossard from Brighton amongst others.
Liverpool also was not left out as they secured the signing of Cody Gakpo from PSV after he was linked to Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag was not left behind also as he went for his countryman Wout Weghorst, on loan, after letting Cristiano Ronaldo join Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia.

Manchester City top the list of the most valuable squad in the world with a squad value of €1.05BN which can be attributed to 24 players.
The Etihad outfit were talk of the town when they signed Erling Haaland from Dortmund for €60 Million and also added Manuel Akanji as well as Kalvin Philips.
Chelsea – €1.02BN
English teams collectively spent a record £815 million ($1 billion) in the January transfer window and none other than Chelsea, generated approximately 37% of that total alone.
The five times Premier League winners spent over £323 million ($400 million) on just eight players, ending things on January 31 with an English record £107 million ($132 million) deal for Argentine Enzo Fernández.
The money Chelsea spent alone in the January transfer window was more than the total amount all Serie A clubs (around €28 million) spent during the window.

Jamal Musiala (+€10m to €110m) and Josip Stanisic (+€4m to €12m) were not affected by this decrease in market value as they are still much valuable in the market.
Arsenal – €890M
Arsenal Captain, Martin Ødegaard is having the season of his life and is a very instrumental player in the attacking midfield of the Gunners, rising from €60m to €80m in value.
Arsenal’s market value has increased from €803 to €890, thanks to Gabriel Martinelli (+€10m to €70m), Jakub Kiwior (+€12m to €20m) and Bukayo Saka (+€10m to €110m).
Bukayo Saka is now the most valuable English player alongside Jude Bellingham of Dortmund and Phil Foden of Man City.

PSG – €883M
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are fifth on our list as their squad is currently worth about €883M.
The PSG squad currently has big names such as Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Lionel Messi Ahcraf Hakimi, and Sergio Romas among many others.
Liverpool – €879M
Jurgen Klopp is blessed with a lot of talented players in his Liverpool squad.
