    Premier League giants, Liverpool, hosted the Seagulls in a thrilling and dramatic first-half encounter witnessing three goals at the 33rd minute of the game.

    The visitors quickly took a surprise lead courtesy of Trossard’s 4th-minute strike, which eluded Alisson Becker, giving the team a surprise 1-0 lead.

    Liverpool increased their pressure on the visitors as they desperately searched for a quick equaliser.

    Charging forward, the Reds were very vulnerable at the back, with Brighton proving dangerous and menacing when galloping along with a speedy counterattack.

    Liverpool were soon caught unawares again. It was Trossard again on the score sheet, putting Brighton two goals up in the 18th minute.

    Jurgen Klopp’s men needed to guide their back cautiously while charging forward. In the 33rd minute, Firmino finds the back of the net to boost their hopes of at least salvaging a draw in the game before the first half runs out.

    The game progressed with Liverpool still maintaining dominance, but Brighton defense was solid enough to take the Seagulls into the break with the 2-1 lead.

    Liverpool resumed into the second half of the game with much intensity as they desperately continued the search for an early equaliser.

    Brighton proved equal to the task as they held firmly to their 2-1 lead against their overwhelming hosts.

    It was Firmino that finally break the deadlock in the 54th minute to find an equaliser while completing his brace in the game.

    A few minutes after equalizing the game, the Reds’ heavy pressure proved unbearable for Brighton, who finally yielded by conceding a goal courtesy of Webster’s 63rd-minute own-goal.

    Liverpool finally took a deserved lead and held a dominant possession over the visitors; Jurgen Klopp’s men were looking set to grab all three points at that point of the game.

    The match continued with Liverpool maintaining dominant possession and pushing the Seagulls to the box. Still, they were overly vulnerable when having to contain their opponents in the counter-attack.

    Despite dominating the game, they missed some perfect chances to put the game beyond the Seagulls. A wasteful frontline left the Reds with their narrow 1-0 margin, with the game entering into the final 10 minutes.

    One last opportunity for Brighton was well utilized in the 84th minute as Jurgen Klopp -led team fell again to Trossard, who had bagged an early brace in the first half.

    Trossard beat Alisson Becker to find the back of the net again, sending the Seagull’s fans into a wild celebration as the team looked set to run away with a point at Anfield.

    With just 6 minutes left, Liverpool again stepped up the pressure parading all the players into Brighton’s box, all to no avail.

    Despite the increased pressure, Brighton held firmly against the rampaging Reds until the game finally ended in a 3-3 draw, with the visitors running away with a golden point from Anfield.
