Liverpool have managed to build the dream team that everyone wants. With Klopp’s boys unbeaten at the moment, it’s no brained why everyone would envy the Reds. Though unbeaten, and on top of the league, the Reds are dotting all their “T’s” by making sure every position is covered with the best of the best players. Recently, rumors swirled that The Reds were in the market for a new forward. News quickly went round and Liverpool were linked to have reportedly approach Nice teenager Pedro Brazao as a potential January signing. With the England giants sitting clear at the top of the Premier League standings, Jurgen Klopp is happy with his first team squad at Anfield.
It is said that Liverpool is looking to boost the number in youth ranks and have been checking out a few youngsters in recent weeks. The Club already has a number of talents already coming through the academy setup, but it wouldn’t hurt to look elsewhere for future potentials. Brazao who is attracting interest from Liverpool at a time when he is on the verge of becoming a part of the first team picture at Nice.
Brazão, who typically plays on the left-side of an attack, joined Les Aiglons in September 2018, initially joining up with their U19s set-up.
He has made just one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 so far this season, despite receiving quite a lot of 1st playing time in pre-season. LFC already wanted to sign the teenager before his arrival at Nice.
The Portuguese international forward, who has only recently turned 17 years of age, made his senior debut when being introduced as a substitute against Caen in April. Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Sporting Lisbon are also said to be monitoring the situation.
Brazao began playing football in Portugal, before moving with his mother to France. In 2017, he signed with the youth academy of OGC Nice. On April 5, 2019, the forward signed his first professional contract with Nice. He made his professional debut for Nice in a 1–0 Ligue 1 loss to Stade Malherbe Caen on April 20, 2019.
Liverpool will face Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday where they are expecting to win.
