Lionel Messi was seen in an uncomfortable moment on live TV during the semi-finals against Croatia. The 35-year-old was seen holding his legs, as many linked it to a hamstring injury.

A lot of fans had already made comments on the incident as the TV cameras were glued to him.

Most people believed that Messi was not holding his hamstring but his “balls”.

The PSG star danced through the Croatian defense even with the suspected injury. He scored the first goal and created the third goal for Julian Alvarez after beating Josko Gvardiol to send Croatia out of the tournament.

Lionel Messi aimed to win the World Cup for the first time in his career and is one win away from cementing the debate over the greatest player of all time.

He reached one final in 2014 but lost to Germany; this is his second chance to win the prestigious title but has to go through either the North African side of Morocco or the defending champions, France.

Julian Alvarez, who has continued to impress the manager and the team, has been a huge fan of Lionel Messi since childhood. An incredible childhood picture of Alvarez taking a pose with Messi had surfaced online after the Manchester City new signing scored two semi-final goals on Tuesday.

Alvarez took the picture with Lionel Messi ten years ago. From a fan, Alvarez has grown to become one of the Argentine stars working really hard to make Argentina and Messi realize their dreams of winning the World Cup.

The Manchester City striker already has four goals in six matches in the tournament and is in contention to win the golden boot at the end of the World Cup and to be named player of the tournament with his idol, Lionel Messi.

Meanwhile, Manchester United legend Roy Keane has praised Lionel Messi for his impact and contribution to the young Argentina side, who were deemed the underdogs after losing to Saudi Arabia.

Keane claimed it is a privilege to watch Messi play live, and he is really impressed by the way he goes past brilliant players. However, Keane claimed there is something Messi can’t do like he does.

The midfielder continued by saying Lionel Messi can’t jump in the bin like he did. Keane was referring to the celebration he pulled in the friendly match between ITV Sport and BBC Sport in Qatar.

    Which team can stop Argentina?

France is the only team capable of ending Lionel Messi’s dreams. The team has the best attackers and is comfortable in defense.

France are not easy to score against; the last team that scored from open play against France was Tunisia, and the best players in the team didn’t play.

In addition, Tchouameni will be given the duty of stopping Messi from attacking. France needs to study Argentina’s game if they qualify for the finals.

Argentina is a very dangerous team on the counterattack and defense fronts. They hardly think of possession. The French team should sit back and make use of Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele’s pace to stop the team.
