English football veteran, Sam Allardyce, is set to return to the dugout as Leeds United sack their manager, Javi Gracia.

Sam Allardyce has reportedly agreed to return to the dugout immediately and will resume duties in Leeds’ next game against Manchester City.

Futballnews understands Leeds United owner, Andrea Radrizzani, was frustrated after the Peacocks were pummelled 4-1 by Bournemouth in their last Premier League game.

Lerma’s early brace, Solanke, and Semenyo’s strike sealed the win for Bournemouth as the home side ran out 4-1 winners.

Leeds United fan, Conor McGilligan, revealed a shock conversation with Leeds United owner, Andrea Radrizzani, during the defeat.

Radrizzani was sorry for the loss but it was evident Javi Gracia’s days at Leeds United dugout was numbered.

Stewards had to restrain hostile fans who attempted to assault Gracia after the loss.

Now, Javi Gracia has been sacked from his role as manager just two months into the job.

He suffered defeats in the hands of Liverpool, Crystal Palace, and recently Bournemouth.

They will face Manchester City in their next game at Etihad and needs to put up a big fight to survive relegation.

Following the sack of Javi Gracia, it has also been confirmed Andrea Radrizzani has sacked the club’s football director, Victor Orta.

Victor Orta, reportedly wanted Javi Gracia to stay till the end of the season – a move that was opposed by Andrea Radrizzani.

Orta joined the club in 2017 and had overseen all the transfer activities and hiring of managers.

He oversaw the changes in the team that led the Peacocks back to the Premier League. However, Andrea Radrizzani confirmed he has to part ways with Orta to facilitate a change in direction for the club as they fight in the next four remaining matches to stay in the Premier League.

Leeds United are going for one of the best hands to take over from Javi Gracia. It has been confirmed the club have appointed English football veteran Sam Allardyce to take over as new manager.

He has been asked to resumed immediately and will be in the dugout against Manchester City on Saturday.

His immediate task is to keep Leeds United in the Premier League for next season.

Sam Allardyce is a guru in English football. He has been known for helping clubs like Crystal Palace, Blackburn Rovers, and Sunderland escape relegation at the death.

Popularly known as Big Sam, Allardyce has managed West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Everton, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, and the England senior men’s national team.

He has been out of work after he could not help his last club, West Brom, stay in the Premier League in 2021.

Leeds United are 17th on the table with 30 points from 34 games, same point as Nottingham Forest who are in the drop zone.

The Peacocks are separated by goal difference. They will take on Manchester City, Newcastle United, West Ham, and Tottenham in their last four games.
