Newly promoted Championship winner Leeds United have embarked on a signing spree for their 2020/21 season in the top flight. The Yorkshire club ended their 16-year absence from the English topflight after they finished top of the Championship table with games to spare after WestBrom lost to Huddersfield.
Patrick Bamford and Pablo Hernandez are some of the key players that starred for the team with 16 and 9 goals from the duo, Argentine tactician Marcelo Bielsa led the team to automatic promotion in his second season despite an earlier scandal in his first season at the club that saw the club fined for what was dubbed ‘Spygate’, but reports claimed the manager had paid the fine in full sum from his pocket. In the month of July, he was named the Championship manager of the year 2020 and the manager of the month for the month of July.

Leeds will kickoff their premier league campaign with a visit to the champions home at Anfield, as they host Fulham and play their first Yorkshire derby against Sheffield United and Manchester City to round up their first month in the top flight.
Leeds fans will look forward to their clash against Manchester United for the clashes of roses, while November looks like rough water to navigate with fixtures against Arsenal, Everton, and Chelsea.
The festive rush for the Yorkshire club will see them play two games away from home against West Brom and Tottenham and a home game against Burnley Leeds United will end their season with fixtures against West Brom at home.

Since its promotion to the English top-flight Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed the signing of some new faces one of which is Jack Harrison resigned on a season-long loan deal from Man City. He made 83 appearances and 10 goals in his first loan stint with the club.
joseph Paul Gelhardt also joined on a four years contract from Wigan after the club was relegated from the Championship following a 12 points sanction. The 18-year-old played times for Wigan scoring 2 goals during his time at the club.
Cody Drameh joined for a reported fee of 400,000 pounds from Fulham, he made a total of 53 appearances for the London club as a right-back.
Wing-back/midfielder Jamie Shackleton’s contract was also extended until 2024, the player has made over 40 appearances for the club scoring 2 goals for the club since joining the club as a boy in 2006
