Kylian Mbappe, a star for Paris Saint-Germain, is rumored to be dating Ines Rau, the first transgender model to grace the Playboy cover.
Rau was reportedly seen with Mbappe at the Cannes Film Festival, and Mbappe was afterward seen carrying Rau on a luxurious yacht, according to the Italian news source Corriere dello Sports.
Rau debuted in Playboy in 2014, and in 2017, she became the magazine’s first transgender cover model.
Rau’s inclusion on the cover caused controversy at the time. Hugh Hefner, the creator of the Playboyson’s Cooper Hefner said: “We should collectively be fighting for a more open world, not one that promotes hatred and a lack of acceptance.”
In a prior interview with Playboy, Rau remarked, according to ETOnline: “I lived a long time without saying I was transgender.
“I dated a lot and almost forgot. I was scared of never finding a boyfriend and being seen as weird. Then I was like, ‘You know, you should just be who you are. It’s a salvation to speak the truth about yourself, whether it’s your gender, sexuality, whatever.”
“The people who reject you aren’t worth it. It’s not about being loved by others; it’s about loving yourself.’”
Ines Rau added: “When I was doing this shoot, I was thinking of all those hard days in my childhood.
“And now everything happening gives me so much joy and happiness. I thought, ‘Am I really going to be a Playmate — me?’ It’s the most beautiful compliment I’ve ever received. It’s like getting a giant bouquet of roses.”
Mbappe has recently been in the news for the wrong reasons on the field, though.
Despite PSG’s strong start to the Ligue 1 season, allegations have surfaced of escalating hostilities between Mbappe and the Parc des Princes club’s other megastars, Neymar and Lionel Messi.
Anger among fans was raised earlier in the month when Mbappe appeared to stop moving during a counterattack after teammate Vitinha failed to transfer the ball to him.

Mbappé, who is regarded as one of the best players in the world and is supposedly the highest-paid, is known for his excellent dribbling skills, pace, and finishing.
Mbappé started his professional club career in 2015 by playing for Monaco, where he won the Ligue 1 championship. He was born in Paris and reared in the nearby town of Bondy. Mbappé joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 when he was 18 years old on a permanent deal worth €180 million, making him the second-most expensive player and the most expensive teen player.
He is the club’s second-highest goalscorer of all time there and helped the team to their first UEFA Champions League Final in 2020. He has won four Ligue 1 championships and three Coupes de France.
Who is Ines Rau?
Ines Rau, a transsexual model 32 years old, was born to Algerian parents in Paris. She reportedly had sex reassignment surgery between the ages of 16 and 18, but she didn’t come out as transgender until she was 24.
Rau gained notoriety by becoming the first openly transgender model to grace the Playboy magazine cover. In November 2017, she received the title of Playboy’s Playmate of the Month.
The model currently has over 740,000 Instagram followers. Since coming out, Rau has also acted as a transgender rights defender.
In 2016, Rau was the center of an episode about the life of a transgender model on the news program Sept a Huit on TF1.
It is unclear if Kylian Mbappe would respond to the reports soon given that the media is asserting that the two are dating.

Mbappe, over the years, has kept a lot of information about his private life, particularly his sexual relationships, private. Contrary to players like Cristiano Ronaldo, the forward’s life outside of sport is largely unknown.
Emma Smet, a French actress, was the 23-year-old’s last alleged girlfriend, however, they never made their connection known to others. The two are no longer together because they allegedly split up.
According to MARCA, Mbappe is currently seeing transgender model Ines Rau, who shot to popularity in 2017. The two were initially spotted together in May of this year at the Cannes Film Festival, which sparked rumors of a romantic connection.
The PSG star was then seen holding Rau as they enjoyed time together on a yacht. Since then, there have been rumors that the two are dating.
Since neither of the two has publicly addressed their relationship, it is unknown how much truth there is to their dating rumor.
