Kingsley Coman Is Happy That He Missed 2018 FIFA World Cup Because His Absence From Russia Helped Him To Meet His Wife, Sabrajna Duvad

Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has revealed that missing out on France’s 2018 World Cup triumph due to injury was a “blessing in disguise” as it led to him meeting his future wife.

For some time now, Bayern Munich’s Coman has been dealing with well-documented injury issues.

The highly skilled winger has consistently struggled with injuries, resulting in him being sidelined for substantial periods each season.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old sustained a ligament tear that kept him out of the 2018 to Cup tournament in Russia.

Although he was initially “very sad” about missing out, he now sees it as a positive turning point in his life.

Kingsley Coman on his injuries: “Sometimes it’s a blessing in disguise because I met my wife during the [2018] World Cup. If I’d been at the World Cup, I wouldn’t have a wife.”

“Now I have a wife and kids, sometimes it’s a blessing in disguise. You always have to keep going.”

Despite his injury woes, Coman remains focused on his goal of winning the World Cup with France in the future.

He added: “My great objective is of course to win the World Cup with France in the years to come.”
