Campbell was admitted to the hospital last week. Everton confirmed the news with a post on X saying, “We have been made aware that our former striker, Kevin Campbell, is currently very ill.”

The former England international spent 10 years at Arsenal from 1985 to 1995, having progressed from the Hale End Academy.
He won the FA Cup, the League Cup, and the European Cup winners’ Cup with the Gunners.
He also played for Premier League teams like Everton and Nottingham Forest. Campbell established himself as a world-class player during his six-year spell at the Merseyside Blue.
He remains Everton’s fifth-top goal scorer in the Premier League with 50 goals.
