Italian Serie A giants Juventus have informed Chelsea that they are set to receive Christian Pulisic if he’s included in the deal for their defender Matthijs de Ligt.
New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is on a mission to rebuild the squad alongside head coach Thomas Tuchel and Juventus Matthijs de Ligt is one of their main transfer targets this summer.
Matthijs de Ligt had recently rejected a new contract renewal with Juventus and is understood to be interested in a move away from Italy with Chelsea being his favorite destination.
However, Juventus are not ready to accept any offer from Chelsea or another club but could let him go if the right offer is submitted. The Italian giants value their defender at around €100m and no team has been able to meet up with the fee but Chelsea are still discussing with the club.
Todd Boehly is determined to land the Dutchman this summer which is why he has decided to include some players in the exchange and multiple sources have revealed that Juventus would be interested in signing Christian Pulisic if he’s added to the deal.
“Juventus are more interested in taking Pulisic than Werner as part of the deal for De Ligt.

Juventus like both players & like Ziyech.
AC Milan have offered a good loan deal for Ziyech that Chelsea are considering accepting.”

The London giants are ready to let Christian Pulisic leave this summer and also German striker Timo Werner. Juventus are interested in having both players but Pulisic is their favorite man.
Juventus have stated they are open to a swap deal and Chelsea is expected to make a bid in the coming days. However, Chelsea may decide to pursue a cash-only deal if the two teams cannot agree on the values of the two makeweights.
The Allianz Stadium’s management is already searching for prospective De Ligt replacements and has a list of possible targets that includes Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli, Gleison Bremer of Torino, and Presnel Kimpembe of Paris Saint-Germain.
The three center-backs mentioned above have also been connected to Chelsea, who are looking to add at least two new defenders this summer.
Chelsea have reached out to Manchester City for the signing of Nathan Ake, who is set to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer if a good offer is presented.
Sources have even suggested that Chelsea may move for three new center-backs this summer to improve their backline after losing Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, and Kurt Zouma over the past year. Their captain and Barcelona target Cesar Azpilicueta may also leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes.
The Blues are among the teams in the Premier League that haven’t made any summer signings but the deal with Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling could be finalized soon.
