Bologna manager Thiago Motta could replace Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus as the club’s new manager.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have tabled a proposal to Thiago Motta to take over the dugout at Turin.
Details of Juventus’ proposal for Motta, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano, show a three-year contract till 2028 is on the table.
However, it is understood Thiago Motta, who is contracted to Bologna till 2026 has yet to sort out his future at the club amidst interest from the Old Ladies.
Sources close to the sensational football manager reveal he will take a decision on his future with Bologna this summer as Bologna round up their Serie A campaign.
Meanwhile, Juventus have also yet to part ways with Allegri although credible sources reveal it is a matter of time before the Serie A giants announce Allergri’s imminent exit at the end of the season.
Despite Motta’s relatively virgin sail in the dugout compared to other experienced hands, Juventus are apparently targeting the young manager following his standout campaign with Bologna in the Serie A.
Alongside Xabi Alonso of Bayer Leverkusen and Ruben Amorim of Sporting Lisbon, Thiago Motta has been regarded as the next big manager in the waiting.
Motta has been lauded for his drastic upturn of Bologna’s fortunes in the Italian top-flight.
His most outstanding achievement has been leading Bologna to third on the Serie A table to qualify the team for the UEFA Champions League next season.
A move to Juventus will mark a major leap in his career as manager but all fingers are crossed ahead of D-Day when he will decide on his future at Bologna.
