Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was delighted with Liverpool’s 3-1 win over West Ham on September 24, 2023.
Jurgen Klopp praised his team’s performance and said that they are starting to find their form.
“I am very happy with the performance today,” Klopp said in his post-match press conference. “We were in control of the game from the start and we scored some excellent goals.
“We defended well too and didn’t give West Ham too many chances. It was a very good performance all round.
“I am starting to see the team that I know we can be. We are pressing well, we are creating chances and we are scoring goals. It is all coming together nicely.
“I am particularly pleased with the way we played in the second half. We continued to attack and we scored two more goals. It was a very complete performance.
“This win is very important for us. It gives us confidence and it shows that we are moving in the right direction.”
Jurgen Klopp also praised Darwin Nunez for his performance. Nunez scored a goal in the match and was a constant threat to the West Ham defence.
“Darwin was excellent today,” Klopp said. “He scored and he was a constant menace to the West Ham defence. He is a very special player and I am very happy with him.
“Darwin is still adapting to the Premier League, but he is getting better and better every week. He is a very exciting player to watch.”
Overall, Klopp was very pleased with Liverpool’s performance against West Ham. He said that the team is starting to find their form and that they are moving in the right direction.
