A source close to Barcelona has revealed to Futballnews that Josep Maria Bartomeu has resigned as Barcelona president on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. Bartomeu decided to depart Barcelona rather than await a fans’ vote of confidence on his future at the club.
The issue of Lionel Messi planning to leave the club was too much for Bartomeu and Barcelona to handle. As a result, the club is in trouble trying to keep calm. Evidently, someone has to go for making things uncomfortable for Messi.
