Super agent Jorge Mendes insists he still has a close relationship with his former client Cristiano Ronaldo following their split.
Mendes was asked about what he thinks about Cristiano Ronaldo’s current situation after he left Manchester United to join Al Nassr.
Mendes replied, “How do I see this phase of his life? Cristiano will always be in my heart.
“He is a special player and a special person for me. If I had thought a few years ago that I could have a player with half the value of Cristiano, I would have signed for less! And all of us Portuguese should be proud to have had and still have a player like him.
“I’ve always said it, and I’ll say it all my life: he was and is the best player in the entire history of world football! I don’t have the slightest doubt, even compared to others.”
The majority of Cristiano Ronaldo’s career has been represented by Mendes.
However, it was reported that both parties went their separate ways after the agent failed to acquire a Bumper deal for him and also failed to move him to Bayern Munich, Chelsea, or Napoli after he left Manchester United.

The relationship with the agent started getting tattered when Ronaldo granted an explosive interview to Piers Morgan, in which he heavily criticized the Manchester United executive.
