Will, an American actor, unexpectedly showed up at Manchester City on Sunday to witness their Premier League game versus Aston Villa.
Will, the star of Elf and Anchorman, is currently in the UK on what appears to be a whistlestop tour of football stadiums. On Saturday, he astonished Wrexham fans by seeing them defeat Wealdstone 3-1 in a National League match.
Even before the game began, he went for a pint at a Welsh bar.
Will then quickly traveled to Manchester for the crucial match at the Etihad on Sunday. Will is a co-owner of the American soccer team LA Galaxy.
Additionally, it appears that he became “best buddies” with Blues star Jack Grealish following the match on Sunday.
The actor had previously been seen on Sky Sports with Manchester United icons Gary Neville and Roy Keane discussing the match. He was especially happy to see Roy again and told the crowd where they had previously met.
He stated: “Roy and I had the pleasure of playing in Soccer Aid.” The big celebrity charity game, organised by Robbie Williams, has previously played at Old Trafford.”
The American responded as follows when asked about his journey across the Atlantic: “I’m on a recruiting trip for LAFC, I’m seeing if [Man City] measure up to the MLS. I don’t really have a side over here, I just enjoy following all the storylines, it’s obviously a very good league.”
After being sighted in the Wrexham bar The Turf before the National League team’s 3-1 victory over Wealdstone, Ferrell went viral on Twitter on Saturday. The 55-year-old is buddies with Hollywood moguls Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and has previously witnessed the Welsh team play at Wembley.
He’s been traveling quite a bit around the area; on Saturday, he was also seen dining at Mamasan in Liverpool before rushing to Wrexham for the game.
