Even though Jesse Lingard is yet to decide on his future, the 29-year-old English attacking midfielder seems not disturbed about the uncertain nature of his football career.
Recall that Manchester United recently confirmed that Jesse Lingard who is a product of the club’s football academy would no longer continue with his football career at the club from this summer. His contract with the Premier League club will expire on June 30, 2022.
Before United confirmed his exit from the club, the Premier League club attempted to extend his stay but the English attacking midfielder refused to sign the contract extension due to lack of game time.
Amid the back and forth between Jesse Lingard and United, West Ham has never stopped to push for the midfielder to return to the club on a permanent deal. Recall that Lingard spent the last part of the 2020-2021 season at West Ham where he scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists in 16 games in all competitions.
Now that Lingard will be a free agent from July 1, 2022, West Ham United have taken their interest in the out of favor England international more seriously.
Note that because of his lack of game time at Manchester United that was why Lingard who has played 32 times for the Three Lions of England since he made his debut on October 8, 2016, missed his place in the national team. As it stands, his chance of playing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup is very slim.
Amid all that, Jesse Lingard has been flying across the world having a nice time, and promoting his fashion and entertainment line ‘Jlingz’.
In one of his latest adventures, Lingard snapped with Teyana Taylor, a 31-year-old American singer, actress, dancer, and model who is popular for her hit song ‘Gonna Love Me’. The footballer met with the American superstar at a party at an undisclosed location.
Also, in another shot taken at the same party, Lingard was seen posing with Teyana, and Chris Brown, a 33-year-old American singer, and actor who gained international recognition for hit songs like “Yeah 3x”, and “Look at Me Now” and “Beautiful People”.
As expected, Lingard who could be without a club from July 1, 2022, took to his Instagram page with 9.6 million followers to share the pictures which he captioned: “It’s a vibe 🕺🏾🎤 #jlingz”.
