Out-of-favor Manchester United winger, Jadon Sancho, has returned to the club’s first team training for the first time in 10 months.

In a report shared on the club’s official website, including footage, Jadon Sancho was seen training with the senior players in the Man United squad, such as Marcus Rashford, Johnny Evans, and others.

A statement on the club’s website also confirmed he is fully back with the team after his brilliant loan spell with Borussia Dortmund last term.

Recall that the 24-year-old, who has two years left on his Man United contract, was frozen out of the team following his infamous spat with the club’s manager, Erik ten Hag.

The fallout led to the club’s decision to have him temporarily continue his career away from the club, on loan to Borussia Dortmund. At Dortmund, Sancho breathed life back into his career, playing a crucial role in the club’s run-in to the final of the 2024 UEFA Champions League.

He was due to return to United after his loan deal expired at the end of the campaign. However, his place in the team was yet to be ascertained after Erik ten Hag signed a new contract with the club.

Now, it appears the pair have brokered a truce, with the player returning to the first team. Meanwhile, Futballnews understands the 24-year-old’s future at Old Trafford has yet to be settled despite his return to the first team. He has been linked with a move to Juventus. While speculations on his Man United future continue, the  coming days in the transfer window will lay the rumors to rest.

Wilfred Ndidi Signs a New Leicester City Contract

Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi, has penned down a new three-year contract with Leicester City until June 2027.

The prolific midfielder has been an integral part of the Foxes since he joined the club from Genk in 2017.

Prior to his new contract, Ndidi was linked to a move away from the club this summer. However, he chose to stay after speaking with the club’s new manager, Steve Cooper.

Reacting to the new deal, the Super Eagles playmaker said;

“I spoke with Cooper, and I am ready to work with him. I feel happy to be a part of this, and then I can’t wait to get started. It’s very exciting [to be back in the Premier League]. We know this is where we belong. We’ll try our best to keep it that way. We want to be here, and we want to stay here.”

Ndidi  had made 273 appearances for Leicester City in all competitions since he joined the club. He won the 2020–21 FA Cup and the Community Shield. Last season, he played a crucial role in the team’s triumph in the second tier and promotion to the English top flight.

With a new three-year challenge agreed upon, the 27-year-old will now extend his stay with the Foxes to 10 years. He will hope to play a big role as the team prepares for the 2024-2025 Premier League title.
