Recall we reported that Jadon Sancho was banned from Manchester United by Erik ten Hag since September and has not featured in any match.

The England international had a rift with the United boss and he also refused to apologize to the Dutch manager in a row over his efforts in training.

Ten Hag publicly called out Sancho in a press conference saying the player has not been efficient when it comes to training.

In response to Ten Hag’s claims, the Englishman took to his Instagram page to refute the statement, claiming he is being used as a ‘scapegoat’ by the United boss.

Jadon Sancho also stated that the claims by the United boss was untrue as he has been consistent in training and has made a lot of effort.

Jadon Sancho has since refused to apologize to the manager, either in private or in public for his social media outburst and remains banned from the first team.

The exile ruled him out of the Manchester Derby on Sunday in which Pep Guardiola’s men thrashed the Red Devils 3-0.

The former Dortmund attacker looks destined to exit Old Trafford in January after spending less than three years. He joined the club for £73m.

His former club Dortmund is his most likely destination should he depart United. Italian giants Juventus is also a likely destination for the winger.

Also, Jadon Sancho has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia and the player himself is looking to leave United amid row with Ten Hag.

Jadon Sancho deactivated his Instagram account after the issue, but has been very much active on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Recently, he had liked three post relating to Real Madrid, a post by Vinicius Jr on September 13 and that of Jude Bellingham on Saturday.

The post from Bellingham he liked was captioned. “This is Real Madrid,” and that of Vinicius Jr post about Real, which read: “New era.”

Sancho and Bellingham have played together on international duty for England, while Vinicius Jr has previously spoken of his friendship with the United winger.

    What Happened To Sancho

Manager Erik ten Hag stated that Jadon Sancho was left off of the team for United’s September 3, 2023 match against Arsenal because of “his performances in training,” adding that players “have to reach a level every day at Manchester United.”

Jadon Sancho responded by posting on social media that “I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself very well in training this week… I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”

Following that, on September 14, United declared that Sancho will train “away from the first team group pending resolution of a squad discipline issue.”
