Aston Villa is currently fighting to stay out of the relegation zone this season. Apart from surviving not to get relegated, it seems Villa will have a bigger task on their hands with their top star planning on leaving in the summer. Jack Grealish who has been nothing but amazing this season has reportedly made up his mind to leave his boyhood club for greener pastures.

Just last week, Man City boss Pep Guardiola called Grealish one of the best players in the Premier League. Grealish has managed to impress pretty much everyone with his form. The 24-year-old has been linked with a summer move to Manchester United, La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid. But it seems Grealish has since decided on his future, he is determined to stay in the Premier League as he joins Manchester United.

According to new reports, the midfielder is determined that Manchester United is his No.1 destination. United are also reportedly ready to drop £60 million for the Villa star. Meanwhile, sources close to Grealish have revealed that he has agreed to terms on a deal secretly.

The unnamed source told media outlets: “Jack Grealish is ready to join Manchester United with the outline of a deal already approved by the Aston Villa star.”

Grealish has also reportedly gone house hunting in the Manchester area. If the deal goes through the England international could potentially be making more than the £100,000 per week he is currently on. Solskjaer who has tried everything in his power to convince Paul Pogba to stay has reportedly come to terms that this won’t happen and has his eyes fixed on Grealish to replace the France international in the summer. James Maddison was formerly the target to take Pogba’s place but it seems Leicester won’t want to let go of their star easily and United have since moved on to Grealish as a backup plan.

Should Grealish join United, this would be good for United midfield being both Grealish and Bruno Fernandes bring something new and creative to the midfield. The United boss is keen on improving his midfield which has suffered in the last two seasons.

GIVEMESPORT’s Rob Hoskin says: “Signing Grealish for £60 million would be a sensational piece of business for United – and that’s not been said too often in recent years. If reports are to be believed and Grealish really does want a move to United, there doesn’t appear to be any obstacles to stop this deal from happening.”

“Apart from Ed Woodward that is…

United might secretly be hoping Villa get relegated this summer so they can snap Grealish up for even cheaper. But there’s no doubt Grealish would bring some much-needed quality to this United side” Hoskin added.

United are currently at seventh place with 35 points, six points adrift of Chelsea who they will face after the winter break on February 17.
