Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has put pen-to-paper on a fresh boot sponsorship contract with sports manufacturing brand PUMA after the attacker went separate ways with Sportswear brand NIKE.
Grealish has been donning Nike boots since he was in his teenage years, but he recently started using PUMA boots after he joined Manchester City.
He also wore PUMA boots for Manchester City’s two-nil victory at the Etihad against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
The Englishman is an ambassador for several organizations including Gucci, Bose headphones and Airwayz. His valuation has skyrocketed since he made that switch from the Villa Park to the Etihad.
He has also been a regular name for the Three Lions of England in recent years and has appeared in twenty-nine (29) games and scored two (2) goals.
The Englishman joins a list of other top names contracted to PUMA
Grealish joins a list of other popular footballing names who have contracts with PUMA. Neymar Jr, Antoine Griezmann, his close teammate Kyle Walker and manager Pep Guardiola are also ambassadors of the brand.
A day after the victory against Newcastle United, the sports manufacturing brand gradually revealed the information of signing the young man to their fold as they sent out clues on social media.
The initial “tip” was a flag of England with the caption: “It might be coming home for him one day.”
The next tweet went thus: “He wears number 10.”
The next tweet put out by PUMA was:
On Monday, PUMA posted a video with Grealish fully kitted in PUMA gear with the words: “We’re delighted to announce that Jack Grealish is a PUMA.
“Welcome to the FAM, Jack.”
The Manchester City winger also responded as he tweeted in “Fabrizio Romano fashion”: “Here we go. Proud to join the PUMA Fam!”
Jack Grealish is understood to have signed a staggering contract that could see him take home £10 million every season.
Grealish’s deal with PUMA is expected to be active till the year 2028 and It is presumed that Nike couldn’t match the financial expectations wanted by the Englishman as a result of the massive athletes in their fold.
PUMA were waiting around the corner and they snapped him up for a deal that was in line with what Grealish wanted.
The attacker would now wear PUMA Future Ultimate football boots on the football pitch and this is according to the German sportswear manufacturing brand.
Manchester City penned a contract with PUMA in 2019 after Nike stopped the kit partnership that existed between both parties.

The massive £10-million deal usurps top earners Gareth Bale and Harry Kane who both earned around £3m per season as a result of lucrative boot deals.
Jack Grealish signed for The Cityzens in the summer of 2021 from Aston Villa for £100-million and he has scored just 9 goals in 72 appearances for Manchester City.
