Eddie Howe made excellent substitutions in the second half, which helped Newcastle win the game, with Isak scoring another penalty and Barnes scoring two goals before the final whistle.

How Newcastle Came From Behind To Defeat West Ham United

The Magpies went ahead in the 6th minute of the match after Coufal fouled Anthony Gordon in the 18-yard box, with the referee awarding a penalty. Alexander Isak sent the West Ham goalkeeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.

A few minutes after Newcastle’s first goal, another attempt fell into Isak’s path. Sweden wasted no time in kicking the ball, but it went off target.

The Newcastle injury crisis became a huge issue for Eddie Howe as club defender Lascelles suffered a horrible injury in an attempt to stop West Ham striker Antonio from scoring.

West Ham United equalized in the 22nd minute of the game, with Antonio scoring a beautiful goal from a well-executed pass from Pacqueta.

After West Ham’s first goal, Jarrod Bowen forced Newcastle goalkeeper Dubravka into a save, with the Newcastle defenders failing to deal with West Ham set pieces.

Before the end of the first half, Newcastle attacker Willock hit the ball from a dangerous position, but it went straight to West Ham goalkeeper Areola.

The Magpies kept pushing for a lead, with Bruno Guimaraes attempting to hit the West Ham goal post. Mohammed Kudus put the West Ham team ahead with a quick pass received from Pacqueta, who had been the best player on the pitch.

Earlier in the second half, West Ham scored yet another goal to extend their lead against Newcastle, whose defense looks shambled.

Kudus found the running Bowen and gave him a good pass for the Englishman to finish it into the bottom corner.

Newcastle’s first attempt in the second half came in the 63rd minute when Isak missed a good scoring opportunity 10 yards from the goal post.

West Ham United substitute Kelvin Phillips fouled Gordon in the 18-yard box for Newcastle to have the second penalty of the match.

Isak kept his composure and sent West Ham goalkeeper Fabianski the wrong way to give Newcastle hope of coming back into the game.

With a few minutes to the end of the match, Newcastle found a way to get back into the game, with Isak providing a nice pass to Harvey Barnes, who wasted no time in getting the equalizer for Newcastle.

The Magpies scored the final goal of the game to stage the biggest comeback of the season with a nice goal from Harvey Barnes.

What Next for Newcastle and West Ham United

In their quest for European football, the Magpies will play against Everton in the Premier League on April 2, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. Due to the fact that the White and Black Army has been besieged by injuries, it will be difficult for them to defeat Everton.

West Ham, on the other hand, will welcome Tottenham Hotspur on April 2, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. It is expected to be one of the most important games for the Hammers, who are interested in playing in European football next season.
