Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane will miss the better part of the 2020-2021 pre-season as he is currently quarantining after he returned to England from the Bahamas.
The 27-year-old England and Tottenham captain had to observe two weeks in isolation because he was holidaying in the Bahamas, a country in the Caribbean islands when the government of the United Kingdom placed the holiday destination on the list of quarantine destinations.
This means that Kane will miss Tottenham Hotspur’s first pre-season friendly against Ipswich slated for Saturday and he might miss further pre-season campaigns until the end of next week when he would have finished serving his two weeks of isolation.
According to reports, he has been at the Caribbean islands before August with his pregnant wife Katie Goodland and their two children, Ivy Jane Kane and Vivienne Jane Kane.
Despite being on the verge of missing the better part of the pre-season campaign, Harry Kane is most likely to play in Tottenham’s first match of the 2020-2021 Premier League season on September 12 against Everton.
Recall that Harry Kane missed a better part of Tottenham’s 2019-2020 Premier League campaign for four months due to a hamstring injury. He was able to bounce back to help the club finish 6th on the league table which qualified them for the 2020-2021 Europa League campaign.
