The Golden Boy Award 2023 shortlist has been revealed with Jude Bellingham & Jamal Musiala making the list for the award.
Barcelona duo Pedri and Gavi won the award in 2021 and 2022 respectively and are no longer eligible for this year’s edition.
Defender Alejandro Balde makes the cut, while 16-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal has also been included as a wildcard.

There are so many players vying for the prestigious award but Bellingham and Musiala are early favorites to win the Golden Boy Award.
Also, we have Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery and loanee Xavi Simons, who is shining with RB Leipzig shortlisted.
Chelsea’s Levi Colwill and Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund both made the list alongside Brighton striker Evan Ferguson and Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.
Royal Antwerp midfielder Arthur Vermeeren also made the cut as he is been monitored by Barca, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham.
Many of the game’s top young talents have won the Golden Boy Award in the past including Barcelona’s Gavi and Pedri.
Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Joao Felix, and Matthijs de Ligt were previous winners in the last four years before the Barca duo.
Also, as we noted earlier, any player who has won the award before will no longer be eligible for nomination.
