Ochoa has signed a new three-year contract with the Quakes, which runs until 2027, with options for 2028 and 2029.
Confirming the signing of Emmanuel Ochoa, San Jose Earthquakes posted a statement on their website which reads:
“The San Jose Earthquakes have signed goalkeeper Emi Ochoa to a new contract through the 2027 season with options for 2028 and 2029.”
The Mexican was promoted to the senior team of San Jose Earthquakes on November 11, 2019, having developed through the youth ranks of the team.
He made his debut for the Quakes in a US Open Cup affair against Oakland Roots SC on May 8, 2024.
Ochoa is currently on loan at Major League Soccer third-tier side The Town FC and he will be hoping to get handy experience at the club.
