Fans were left baffled after a Ghanaian official took a selfie with the crying South Korea attacker Heung Min Son after Ghana defeated the Asians by three goals to two.
The Ghanaian official whose name was not disclosed brought out his phone and put it closer to Heung Min Son, who could not look at the camera as he was consoled by another Ghanaian official, George Boateng.
Ghana scored two goals in the first half against South Korea and were hoping the scoreline was going to be extended in the second half.
However, South Korea’s Cho Gue Sung scored a powerful header in the 58th and 61st minute to give South Korea the equalizer.
The South Korean defense was not strong enough to stop the Ghanaian attackers, and Mohammed Kudus scored the winning goal in the 68th minute to end the hope of the South Koreans getting a win against the West Africans.
Kudus was named Man of the Match and is currently getting attention from top teams in Europe.

What are South Korea’s chances of qualifying for the knockout stage of the World Cup?
It is going to be tough for the South Koreans, but they need to defeat Portugal on December 2, 2022 to stand any chance.
Portugal has already qualified for the knockout stage with six points from two matches. The team needs Uruguay to beat Ghana or a draw between those two teams in order to qualify for the next round. But that can only make any difference if South Korea beat Portugal.
The last tie of Group Stage matches will surely be an interesting one; Ghana needs a win to qualify, Uruguay needs a win to qualify, and South Korea also needs a win to qualify.
Heung Min Son and his teammates will have to put in all their strength and take it as a do-or-die affair. The good news is that Portugal will surely rest their most important players.
