Germany team RasenBallsport Leipzig has ended the Champions League adventure of the English team, Tottenham Hotspurs. The first leg of their bout ended with a one-goal from Leipzig a none from Tottenham Hotspurs

The second leg of their Champions League game showed Tottenham Hotspur showing their strength and aggressive part in the first few minutes of the game. Hotspurs were eagerly and aggressively playing trying to overturn their first defeat to Leipzig. However, things began to change when the home team settled in fully into the game. Leipzig found the back of the net three times to put to permanent stop to Tottenham Hotspurs campaign in the Champions League. With the first goal coming from Marcel Sabitzer in the 10mins it became crystal clear to the visitor that thing might not go as planned, Tottenham did more to get themselves back into the game.

However, they could not get a perfect way to stop this goal hungering player, Marcel Sabitzer until he found the back of the net again in the 21st mins, at that time, there was little or nothing to fight for Jose Mourinho’s side had to endure the rest of the first half to avoid any more goals from their host.

The third goal of the night came in at exact 87th mins of the game from Emil Forsberg, the third goal silent the aggressive Tottenham, it became audible enough to even the deaf that there was nothing left to defend. Reasonably, Leipzig have moved to the next round of their Champions League adventure after they stopped Tottenham Hotspur who made it to the final stage of the competition last season against Liverpool.

Interestingly, Liverpool will host Athletico Madrid tonight in Anfield. And the question on the lips of everyone is Will Liverpool be able to turn things around in their powerhouse, Anfield?
