Bale, who is 33-year-old is enjoying his retirement, and featured in a round at 2021 US Open golf course in California.

Although his love for golfing is well documented, the former Real Madrid ace has never hit a perfect hole-in-one in his life.

The former Wales international delightfully shared the video of the moment to his Instagram account.

Bale watched as the ball trickled it’s way into the hole after he executed a perfect swing at Torrey Pines.

Bale turned around and ran off with his arms in the air, shouting in jubilation alongside his friends after he struck the ace.

In the video Gareth Bale posted, he captioned it: “First ever hole-in-one @torreypinesgolf South course, hole no3 great commentary by @ollieschindler.”

While this was a massive feat for the former football star, some fans of his former club Real Madrid were not happy with the post.

The post by Bale came just hours after Real Madrid were humiliated and knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester City after a 4-0 win.

One fan angrily commented on the video Bale shared, saying: “Bro we lost 4-0.”

The second fan who was already irritated commented saying: “Make a Madrid post rn before I lose my s***.”

As part of the angry comments, another one added: “I know he is retired I respect that but still.”

Some other Madrid fans were left pleading with the former Star to return to their club after Pep Guardiola’s men humbled them at the Etihad.

One of the pleading fans commented on the post saying: “Come back to Madrid.”

While another pleading fan added: “Missing you in Madrid.”

Gareth Bale won the Champions League for a record five times when he was still at Real Madrid.

He joined MLS side Los Angeles FC on a short term deal after he left Real Madrid before he decided to retire from football after the Qatar World Cup.

While everyone argued that it was too early for the Wales International man to retire from football, he confirmed it was the “right time” for him.

Gareth Frank Bale MBE is a Welsh former footballer who played as a winger, he was born on 16 July 1989 and most notably played for Tottenham and Real Madrid.

The Welshman is widely cosidered as one of the greatest players of his generation and one of the greatest Welsh players of all time.

Gareth Bale enjoyed a massively successful career at Real Madrid when he joined them in 2013 for an undisclosed fee, which was confirmed to be a then world-record transfer fee of £85.1 million (€100.8 million).

The former Tottenham man was part of the trio nicknamed BBC, while playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. He helped Madrid to win the 2013–14 Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League, scoring in both finals.

Why Did Bale Retire So Early?

Gareth Bale surprisingly announced his retirement from club and international football at 33 years of age in January 2023.

The decision brought about several questions as to why the Welshman retire so early in his career when that age was regarded a peak age.

The former Real Madrid and Tottenham star retired as one of the legends of the game and one of the greatest Welsh players of all-time.

Bale announced his decision of early retirement in an emotional statement on his social media account after struggling with a series of injuries.

Bale’s highlight of his career as a professional was winning the Champions League titles 5 times and three La Liga trophies in his time at Santiago Bernabeu.

The Welshman was also an integral part of Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid side that three-peated the Champions League.
