Gabriel Martinelli decided to take to Instagram to celebrate his lover, Rachel Akemy few hours after he led the Brazilian under 21 Olympic team to defeat Serbia’s Under 21 team in an international friendly.
In the international friendly match which ended 3-0 in favor of Brazil, the 19-year-old left-winger played for 73 minutes before he was substituted.
Hours after, Gabriel Martinelli decided to take his girlfriend to a relaxation spot where they hanged out, kissed, and took pictures to celebrate their relationship.
In the picture the Arsenal winger shared on Instagram, the Brazilian youngster could be seen giving Rachel Akemy a passionate kiss at the relaxation spot.
In the caption, the Brazilian winger wrote: “I love you so much my princess, I’m very lucky to have you with me.”
Gabriel Martinelli and Rachel Akemy have been in a relationship since childhood. However, information about how they started their relationship is not in the public domain.
Before the footballer left Brazil where he was playing for Ituano to join Arsenal on July 2, 2019, for a transfer fee worth €6.70 million, there have been reports that Martinelli and Rachel Akemy are legally married.
The reports claimed that the 19-year-old footballer got married to his childhood sweetheart in July 2019 in Sao Paolo, the same month he signed for Arsenal football club.
At the time of publishing this report, it has not been confirmed that the two lovers are officially married, but they are known to always travel together and also stay together in London.
Though Gabriel Martinelli is just 19-year-old, he has the financial resources to give his lover the best of life. His deal with Arsenal earns him nothing less than £1.1 million per year.
Based on this, the youngster earns £5,404 per day which is enough for a man of his age and status to have the best of life with his lover.
Besides enjoying the best of life outside the pitch, Martinelli has been fighting very hard to win the heart of Arsenal’s coach, Mikel Arteta.
In the just-concluded 2020-2021 season, the 19-year-old Brazilian winger managed to make 23 appearances in all competitions in which he scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists.
His contract with Arsenal will last until June 30, 2024, if he is not sold before then.
