Before beginning his senior club career at Palmeiras, where he was voted Best Newcomer at the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and won the Copa do, Brasil in 2016, Gabriel Jesus started his junior club career with Anhanguera in 2010, where he played for two years before joining Palmeiras youth team in 2013. After two years with the Palmeiras youth team, Gabriel Jesus’ brilliance earned him a transition into Palmeiras senior team, where he played between 2015 and 2017. He made 67 appearances for the club, scoring 21 goals in his two years spell.
On 3 August, Gabriel Jesus joined Manchester City, signing a four-year contract for £27m. He made 159 appearances for the club, scoring 58 goals.
