Arsenal football club beat Sevilla 6-0 to win the 2022 FA Community Shield at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, July 30, 2022, and the club’s new signing, Gabriel Jesus played a prominent role in the domination
During the preseason tournament, Arsenal started pushing for a win in the very early stage of the game as the opening goal came in the first 10 minutes of the game. The club’s wonder kid, Bukayo Saka scored the opener via penalties in the 10th minute.
In the 13th minute, Gabriel Jesus turned up to double Arsenal’s lead and made the game more difficult for the visiting team.
Gabriel Jesus who joined Arsenal from Manchester City on July 4, 2022, for a transfer fee worth €52.20 million turned up again and scored his second goal of the match to ensure that Sevilla weakened further.
In the 19th minute, Saka confirmed that he is also a big match player by scoring Arsenal’s 4th goal of the match. Afterward, the two teams could not do much until the end of the first half.
In the second half, Arsenal continued to make the club’s fans happy at the Emirates Stadium by ensuring that their 4-0 win is not wasted. But this time around, the goals did not come in fast succession like it was in the first half.
Just like he dominated the first half, Gabriel Jesus continued to show his explosive preseason form by scoring in the 77th minute to make it a 5-0 lead. Eddie Nketiah sealed Arsenal’s victory in the 88th minute.
