Fulham signed Tottenham Hotspur flop Ryan Sessegnon as a free agent after he was released by Spurs at the end of last season.

He is set to have his medicals at Craven Cottage. Before he was signed by Fulham, he was heavily training with Crystal Palace in a bid to build up his fitness ahead of the 2024–25 season.

It was revealed that Crystal Palace were keen on signing the left back to boost their defence next season.

Sessegnon came through the Fulham academy into the club’s first team. He went ahead to make 120 appearances for the club, scoring 25 goals and creating 18 assists in all club competitions.

He moved to Tottenham Hotspur in 2019 for a transfer fee worth £25 million. Sessegnon failed to break into the Tottenham first team because of persistent injuries over the years.

In the 2020–21 season, the left-back was sent on loan to German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim. Sessegnon went to Germany with the expectation of finding his best form, but he failed to do so.
