They will be aiming to go a step higher by winning the English Premier League title, having had a busy summer signing players like Ross Barkley, Enzo Barrenechea, Lewis Dobbin, Samuel Iling-Junior, Jaden Philogene, Cameron Archer, Ian Maatsen, Amadou Onana.

It is unknown if they can cope with the rigors of playing in many competitions next season, however, they have a master tactician in Unai Emery, whose brilliance was witnessed last season.

It will be fascinating to see if they can upset the apple cart by winning the Premier League this term, having last won the English League crown in 1981.

4) Liverpool

The Reds completed the 2023/24 season in 3rd position and have experienced a change of guard at the side.

Jurgen Klopp exited the side at the end of the 2023/24 season after nearly a decade in charge of Liverpool, with Arne Slot appointed as his successor.

The Reds are yet to sign any player this summer, however, they had an impressive outing in the preseason.

It will be interesting to see how they acclimatize to the system of the new boss Slot, although all indicators are looking good thus far.

Liverpool last won the Premier League title in the 2019/20 season, ending their 30-year wait for the prize.

3) Manchester United

The Red Devils have made needed reinforcements this summer, with the aim of getting back to their glory days.

Manchester United had a disastrous outing in the 2023/24 season, ending the campaign in 8th position.

Having witnessed changes administratively and in the managerial department, fans of the club are also hoping that their fortunes change for the better.

The Old Trafford giants have secured the services of Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, and Matthijs de Ligt, alongside Noussair Mazraoui, and are expected to make more additions before the window closes.

2) Arsenal

The Gunners have missed the Premier League title by a whisker in the last two seasons, losing their grip on the title and letting it slip away to Manchester City.

Irrespective of the points advantage they hold over the Cityzens, the North London side often falter when it matters most.

Arsenal have come second in the last 2 campaigns and they will be aiming to make that a thing of the past in the 2023/24 season.

The Gunners have made just one signing this summer, acquiring Riccardo Calafiori from Serie A side Bologna.

It will be interesting to see if they would finally claim the title in the 2024/25 season, to halt a 2-decade wait for the league crown.

1) Manchester City

The Cityzens took home a record 4 successive Premier League titles in the 2023/24 season, cementing their legacy in English football.
